We are investing in a campus improvement project to provide new teaching space, student accommodation and space for arts.
The proposals include new buildings and refurbishment of existing facilities.
The programme will further enhance our ability to deliver an outstanding student experience, world-class research facilities, an inspiring working environment and cultural benefits for the wider community.
There are nine major works within the programme:
- The Chancellors’ Building
- The Quads accommodation complex
- The Edge
- 1 West refurbishment
- 4 East South
- 10 West
- Milner Centre
- The Virgil Building
The developments are part of our Masterplan 2009-2026.
“Our continuing ability to attract some of the brightest and most gifted students and staff to our University means we can face the future with great confidence.
It is with the future in mind that we are planning to invest over £100m in our campus.
Our aim is to further enhance our ability to deliver an outstanding student experience and the highest quality research.”
