Campus investments

The old exterior of The Virgil Building

The Virgil Building

Project details

A £4.5million investment will transform the former police station into a learning zone with office space for student-facing services. The wide-ranging exterior and interior redesign will create study space, training rooms and a coffee bar. Consulting rooms will be provided for meetings with the Careers Service, Student Services and others for advice and guidance.

The building increases our presence in the centre of Bath alongside the Innovation Centre and several students’ residences. It is just a three-minute walk from the central bus and rail stations, and 15 minutes from the main University campus.
