This is an index of the employers who contact us for graduate recruitment, including web
addresses and links. These are the employers targeting you as a Bath student! Log into MyFuture and go to Browse organisations.
Browsable by business activity. Note that not all employers will have current vacancies.
Some of the larger employers supply us with take-away copies of brochures for you to collect, mostly during the Autumn and Spring terms - these are in the red take-away files in the Information Room.
If you're interested in the armed forces, come in and have a look at hard copy reference files in the Information Room.
Not all companies offer clear graduate entry routes. This helpsheet, which can be downloaded below, explains more.
This provides contact information for Bath graduates who are willing to talk to current Bath students about working for their employer, what's involved in their job and also equal opportunities issues. It includes a wide range of graduate employers and types of role from the high profile to the more unusual. The list had over 600 graduates in more than 400 different organisations at December 2012.
The Graduate Contacts List is only available for reference in the Information Room.
Use our Networking helpsheet to find out how you can find your own contacts.
A selection of Bath graduates working in more unusual roles talk about how they got into their jobs and what their work involves. View the menu of podcasts.
International graduates from Bath talk about their careers and their experiences of finding work, as well as reflecting on their study experience at Bath. View the case studies.
In these reports students who have been through a selection process describe the activities they encountered. The reports are available to browse in the Information Room and are useful if you’re preparing for selection with a particular employer.

This section of our catalogue lists employer guides and directories available in the Information Room, as well as links to useful online resources.
Employer directories are included here - at the start of the academic year we have copies for you to take away, and we hold reference copies all year round. The current range includes:
- Guardian UK 300
- Real Prospects Directory
- TARGETjobs get directory
- Times top 100 graduate employers.
- University Library
The Library has a range of business resources covering UK, overseas and smaller/local employers, plus a selection of company reports. These are useful for finding company information. See the Library's 'Management' webpage for links.
The Library has also produced a helpsheet with our assistance, 'Get that job! Using the Library and Careers Advisory Service to get that competitive edge' (PDF file). This aims to help you research employers prior to completing applications or going for interviews.
If you are interested in working in the voluntary sector, you will find some useful contacts in our Directory of Charities, Volunteering and Gap Year Opportunities.
