Using our services
We offer limited help to graduates of other UK universities who are within three years of graduation.
Before making a special journey, please check our web page with opening hours and ring us on 01225 386009, particularly during vacation periods.
- You can use the resources in the Information Room to research
occupations, employers and courses or collect take-away information
at any time of the year during working hours.
Most of our website is open access so you can browse pages from anywhere. - You can use TARGETjobs Careers Report and Prospects Career Planner on any PC with internet access. These simple-to-use systems are designed to help you think about yourself and what kind of work might suit you. If you are looking for a way of generating new ideas, these could help. Please see our page on online guidance tools for links and more details.
- See Vacancy sources page for ideas about where to look for vacancies.
- Prospects.ac.uk has some useful information such as occupational profiles to help you research potential careers.
You are not entitled to use our one-to-one
guidance and drop-in services.
However, you can:
- Contact your own university's careers service
to ask about graduate services.
A full list of UK and Eire careers services along with contact details and graduate services information is available on Prospects.ac.uk - under 'Search for careers services specifically for graduates'. Some services are fee-based, for example the University of London's C2 service.
Please note that we cannot help current students of other universities, nor graduates of overseas universities.
