Alan Bunch
Careers Adviser
Alan joined Bath CAS in 2004 after 20 years' experience as a research group leader, senior lecturer and, in the last 6 years, Sub-Dean of a Science Faculty. Having graduated with a doctorate in microbial biochemistry, he has been a member of several committees of learned societies, most recently holding the position of Secretary to the Industrial Biochemistry and Biotechnology Group of the Biochemical Society. One of the key goals of the Group was to raise awareness of the wide range of career opportunities in science. Alan has a postgraduate diploma in careers education.
