Aims & Learning Objectives:
The aim of the unit is that the student gain skills in setting up an hypothesis and in devizing experiments designed to test that hypothesis.
At the end of the unit the student should be able to present and explain the background to the chosen research area, formulate the hypothesis to be addressed and select the means by which it is to be tested
Content:
A wide range of project topics will be made available from which the student will chose one and work as part of a small team.
