The intention of this unit is to:
* Engage students in the reflection and critique of pedagogic practices by applying their knowledge of different theoretical positions to a range of learning contexts;
* Provide an opportunity for students to develop and improve their personal critical praxis;
* Understand specific and contemporary pedagogical issues related to young people and physical activity.

Learning Outcomes:
Having studied this unit, students will be able to:
* Consider and recognise how different theoretical positions might influence our approach to pedagogic practices.
* Critically reflect upon practice in terms of enhancing continuing professional development.
* Increasingly recognise appropriate links between theory and practice.
