To allow students to develop an understanding of the structure and function of the main systems within the body and how they interact with one another.

Investigation of the following systems:
* Cardio-respiratory;
* Digestive/Excretory;
* Skeletal;
* Muscular;
* Lymphatic;
* Nervous.
Understand the growth and development of the various bodily systems;
Examine the structure and function of the components of the various body systems;
Understand and analyse how the components interact to perform their functions and adapt to differing exercise.
