The unit will equip students with skills and knowledge about:
* the process, principles and practice of constructing of multi-platform media to a 360° commission with reference to commercial practice;
* the planning of interactive media using industry standard software in a professional and commercial context.

Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of this unit students should be able to:
* demonstrate an understanding of planning an multi-platform media project;
* design source content for use in multi-platform media;
* plan audio material for use in multi-platform media;
* design a multi-platform media product to a 360° commission.

Skills:
Practical: plan a multi-platform media product (F, A)
Intellectual: heuristics, accessibility, end user requirements and commercial context of production (T, A)

Content:
Plan professional standard interactive multi-platform product utilising the latest design, heuristics and accessibility guidelines.
Engage with clear principles of design. Use a wide range of source material such as graphics, moving image, 3D models and animations, audio and animated material.
Conduct task and user analysis; understand planning processes and principles for interactive media products.
Planning of an interactive media project, customized for cross platform delivery within the design constraints of the delivery mediums. Use industry standard planning processes.
