To enable students to understand the concept of sustainable business practices in construction organisations.
To enable students to appreciate the role of the construction manager and the implications on all stakeholders of introducing sustainable business practices.

Learning Outcomes:
After completing the unit students will be able to:
* Appreciate the importance of sustainable business practices to the success of a construction organisation
* Understand the concept of sustainable business practices
* Realise the extent of the role of the manager when introducing sustainable business practices
* Understand the implications of sustainable business practices on the whole range of stakeholders
