To enhance student career development in modern building design.

Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this unit, students should be able to:
* Assess the current state-of-the-art of modern building design processes in a critical yet holistic manner.
* Evaluate innovative solutions that advance the through-life performance of L-C building designs.
* Parametrically optimise the technical demands of modern building design into integrated solutions.
* To evaluate the relative impact and consequences of L-C strategies contiguous to the design process.
* Manage complex design tensions of differing client intents towards the design "sweet-spot".
* Demonstrate knowledge of core professional skills to enable students to be 'work-place ready' to make a successful transition to their professional practice placement and future employment.
