| Description:
| Aims: This unit aims to foster the professional and personal development of the student practitioner, in relation to current standards of best practice, research evidence and theory. Learning Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will be able to: * Interpret own roles and responsibilities in the organisation, recognising the limitations of own competence and areas of responsibility; * Monitor, reassess, evaluate and report on the process and outcomes of interventions used with clients; * Apply the principles of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice, demonstrating awareness of relevant legislation and codes of practice; * Critically reflect on own professional development needs and devise plan/ strategies to meet them within a given timescale.
