To review and evaluate the key issues in pharmaceutical public health.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the unit the student will be able to:
1. Critically discuss the nature of public health and how it is delivered (knowledge and understanding)
2. Critically evaluate the opportunities in pharmaceutical public health for self-development and complete a "Declaration of Competence" to demonstrate competence to provide a public health service of choice. (knowledge and understanding; professional, practical skill)
3. Use key and relevant public health tools and information sources to inform the delivery of pharmaceutical public health projects (professional practical skill)
4. Critically review policy formation and the effect it has on pharmaceutical public health in the community pharmacy and/or CCG setting (knowledge and understanding, professional practical skill)
