This unit enables students to develop an understanding of the practice of business in an international context. The unit will typically include company visits, lectures, case studies, cultural awareness events and student presentations on a company project.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this unit, students will have:
* Heightened their awareness of international management issues by exposure to the business environment of another country;
* An enhanced appreciation of the impact of different political, economic, social and technological contexts on business activity;
* Gained an insight into companies operating in another country;
* Applied knowledge from the classroom to a real situation.
