* To enhance the production of authentic and accurate written and spoken French especially in economic, business and professional contexts;
* To consolidate student's knowledge of complex grammatical structures;
* To apply the acquired skills to the production of a variety of French texts;
* To build on the communication skills acquired in YEAR 1;
* To improve oral proficiency and aural comprehension.

Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
* Manipulate a broad range of lexis, grammatical structures and syntax;
