* To enhance the production of authentic and accurate written and spoken Italian;
* To learn more complex grammatical structures and complete the study of Italian grammar and syntax;
* To apply the acquired skills to the production of a variety of Italian texts;
* To build on the communication skills acquired in YEAR 1 and develop in depth communication skills;
* To improve oral proficiency and aural comprehension.
