This unit aims to develop theoretical and practical understanding of the learning and research process associated with developing business ideas into viable business models. It introduces the research methods necessary to successfully undertake an advanced level entrepreneurship research project and helps students plan and execute the dissertation project for the MSc in Entrepreneurship and Management.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completing the unit, students will be able to:
* Define a clear purpose for their dissertation;
* Identify relevant academic literature that can inform the achievement of that purpose;
* Formulate an action research strategy for developing business ideas;
* Understand the practical challenges of collecting and analysing data using different methods.
