Description: Aims:
To introduce students to the key elements of navigation, guidance and communciation for autonomous systems
To introduce key concepts required for understanding, designing and critically appraising navigation, guidance and communciation for autonomous systems
To provide key skills for implementing navigation, guidance and communciation for autonomous systems

Learning Outcomes:
Design, validate and critically appraise navigation, guidance and communciation for autonomous systems (EP3, DF2)
Compare, contrast and evaluate practical techniques for the navigation, guidance and communciation for autonomous systems (EP1, EP2, ET5, SM1)
Apply a range of established and new techniques for the navigation, guidance and communciation for autonomous systems(ET6, DF1, EA2, EA3, SM2, SM3)

Navigation: GPS, GNSS, Real time kinematics, sensor fusion, visual systems
Guidance: Magnetic systems, 9DOF sensors, path following, waypoint planning
Communciation: Telemetry links, aerial specification, simple networks, hardware for autonomous systems communication, satellite communciations.
