Catalogue of Generally Available Units 2023/4

You are allowed to choose up to 6 credits worth of units in each year in addition to the units taken as part of your degree programme. You can take 3 credits in each semester or 6 credits in either semester 1 or semester 2 or as a year-long unit.

Students wishing to take a unit from this list as a Director of Studies approved option within their programme of study must seek the approval of their Director of Studies. Students will only be permitted to take a Director of Studies approved option if this is specifically available within their programme of study. Students will normally be expected to take a unit commensurate with the stage at which they are studying. Your Director of Studies will be able to provide advice on whether or not a unit is appropriate for you to study.
