Stephen Brammer Stephen is Professor of Business & Society and Director of CBOS at the University of Bath, School of Management. His current research activity explores the interfaces between business organizations and the societies in which they operate, principally through conceptual lenses drawn from strategic management, psychology and economics. Much of his research examines the stimuli for socially responsive corporate behaviour and the relationships between firm social performance and other dimensions of corporate performance. Specific recent projects include: an investigation of the importance of corporate social performance for corporate reputation; an analysis of the drivers of corporate social and environmental reporting; and a study of the role that corporate news media visibility plays in stimulating social responsiveness. His research has been widely published in leading journals such as the Journal of Management Studies, the Journal of Business Research, Financial Management, the Cambridge Journal of Economics, the Journal of Business Ethics and Business & Society. |
Laura Maria Ferri

Laura Maria Ferri holds a PhD from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. She works on the theme of responsible procurement management. She is now involved in international research projects on her topic in collaboration with renowned international Universities: University of Bath (UK), Loyola Institute for Business Administration (India) and Zhejiang University (China). Since 2005, she has been a researcher in CSR, supply chain and corporate strategy at ALTIS. She holds a Degree in Management from Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan where she graduated in 2004. |
Professor Dr André Habisch

André Habisch is Professor of Social Ethics and Society at the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt, Ingolstadt Business School/ Economics Departments and founding director of the Center for Corporate citizenship. He has lectured on Social and Business Ethics in different Master’s Programs (Univ. of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt, Catholic Univ. of Milan, USW Schloss Gracht) and in the international Summer school at the Free Univ. of Bozen (I) andis Visiting Professor at the ICCSR (Nottingham Univ.) since 2004. He has completed research projects for the Austrian ministry of Social Affairs, Bertelsmann Foundation, British-German Foundation, German Federal Ministry of Research, German Federal Office of Anti-Discrimination, German Research Community (DFG), EU Commission, European Academy Business in Society. His research interests include applied business ethics, corporate social responsibility, corporate citizenship, social entrepreneurship and innovation in the social sector. He serves as scientific consultant of the Catholic Entrepreneurial Union (BKU) and as chairman of the board of trustees of the Bayer Cares Foundation. He is member of the editorial board of the Journal for Corporate Citizenship and has published in the Journal of Business Ethics and Business Ethics: A European Journal. |
Professor Andrew Millington

Andrew Millington is Professor of Business and Society and Head of the Business, Society and Business Economics Group. Organizations and Society and his recent work focuses on two areas. First, the motivation and management of corporate social performance; key themes emphasize the role of organizational characteristics, corporate strategy, stakeholder pressures, and industry conditions as stimulants of corporate social performance and its organization and management within the corporation. Second, the interface between the cultural and institutional environment in China and the Chinese operations of UK and US firms. Key issues include the relationships between ethical conduct and guanxi and the impact of institutional and cultural factors on the management of relationships in China. His research has been supported by the EPSRC, the ESRC, the European Commission, the DTI and the Welsh Office. His work is published in leading management journals including the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Management International Review and the Cambridge Journal of Economics. |
Professor Mario Molteni

Mario Molteni is Full Professor of Business Administration and Corporate Strategy at the Catholic University of the Sacred heart, Milan. He is Founder and Director of ALTIS, the Postgraduate School of Business & Society at the same university, an international research and education institute for the study of entrepreneurship and corporate sustainability. Since 1994 he has been Director of ISVI, Institute for Business Values, a centre of research for Corporate Social Responsibility promoted by several Italian universities and important manufacturing industries, banks and associations. Mario is the founder of Borsa Progetti Sociali (Social Projects Exchange), a nonprofit organization created to develop partnerships between profit and nonprofit sectors and in 2006 founded the Italian network of CSR managers. He has lectured in Corporate Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility on many Master's Programs (Catholic University, SDA Bocconi, ENI Corporate University, Publitalia). He is also a consultant and trainer in Business Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility. He is a member of the Steering Committee of EABIS (European Academy of Business in Society), GBS (the Group for the definition of a model for Social Reports in Italy), and of the Editorial Board of the magazine Non Profit. |
