Credibility and Corporate Environmental Disclosure – PhD Research (Ongoing) – Jamie O’Neill - supervised by Krista Bondy and Andrew Millington

The credibility concept has a rich and varied background, primarily in the social psychology literature.  Its presence in management research is limited to the marketing literature. Credibility is a critical construct in the perceived effectiveness of corporate environmental disclosure. This research attempts to incorporate the credibility concept into the environmental disclosure literature and present an examination of the credibility dimension and its interaction with corporate environmental disclosure.
