Chemical Engineering student commended for her contribution

MunaxRubenFinal year student Muna Mazlan has received a ‘Highly Commended’ citation by Bath’s Students Union at its Student Employee of the Year Awards for 2010. Muna was nominated by her employers, JobLink , in the Students Union and her award was in the category International Student Employee of the Year.

Muna is a Student Assistant at JobLink which is a service that helps students find work during term and vacation time. It also provides advice and information on a range of employment related issues for students.

Muna is pictured in the photo, alongside Ruben Kostucki, also a final year student in Chemical Engineering. Ruben was awarded Student Employee of the Year in 2009, in the Planning and Organisation category for his work with the online charity Our Future Planet.

The Student Union had more nominations than ever before, and more nominations than any other university participating nationally. The quality of the nominations was so high that the judging panel decided to award a highly commended in each category. The winning and highly commended students were given their awards at a networking event and ceremony on 22nd April. A great night was had by all.
