Department impresses in 2011 student survey

nss-smallThe Department for Chemical Engineering is pleased to have achieved an excellent score for student satisfaction in the 2011 National Student Survey (NSS). Once again the Department has improved its position, this year coming 7th overall in the ranking for Chemical, Process and Energy Engineering.

Head of Department, Professor Julian Chaudhuri commented, “Chemical Engineering at Bath has been working closely with its students for several years to listen to them and to implement changes that will both enhance the student experience and ensure a high quality teaching and learning experience is available to all. We are delighted by this year’s NSS results and the fantastic recognition by our students.”

The Department’s result mirrors the achievements of the University of Bath as a whole, which received 91%, eight points higher than the national average and its highest score in the Survey to date. The University of Bath was ranked 6 th in the national table for NSS scores.
