MEng fourth-year student is Winkworth’s 2012 industrial placement

Chemical Engineering student Tim Gore is spending his fourth year of study in a placement as the
Winkworth 2012 industrial trainee.
Winkworth Machinery, part of the Winkworth Group, is a well-established company which designs and manufactures world-class industrial mixers for mixing doughs, powders, creams, batters, pastes, sludges, slurries and granules. Winkworth mixers are used in a wide variety of industries around the world.
Grant Jamieson, MD said: "We are delighted to have been able to select Tim, he has knowledge and experience gained in farming, so has seen industry at work and is clearly a very capable young man who I feel can learn a lot and contribute a great deal to the business and those around him. I know he’ll be a success."
