Chemical Engineering academic and postgraduate co-author new book chapter
Dr Davide Mattia and research postgraduate, Hannah Leese, of the Environmental Nanotechnology Group have co-authored a chapter to be included in a new book 'Nanoscale Liquid Interfaces' published by Pan Stanford.
The chapter, 'Wetting in Carbon, Inorganic and Organic Nanotubes and Nanochannels' gives an in depth overview of the most recent developments in the field, with particular focus on the relation between solid-liquid molecular interactions between the liquid and the channel walls it is flowing through.
The chapter also offers insight into methods for infiltration of viscous fluids and polymers in nanochannels, and in the latest modelling results explaining the dynamics of infiltration.
