Professor Keiran Molloy
We are interested in aspects of synthetic and structural inorganic / organometallic chemistry which have applications towards novel inorganic materials. Our work embraces three broad areas:
- the synthesis and characterisation of precursors for the MOCVD of thin films
- the supramolecular chemistry of organometallic coordination compounds (e.g. tetrazoles) which form porous networks
- biological chemistry of Cu, Zn and Sn for applications in dental hygiene
