About the Bath Centre for Mathematical Biology The Centre was set up in 1994 to facilitate communication and encourage
collaboration between mathematicians and biologists interested in
interdisciplinary research at the University of Bath. Its membership
includes about twenty permanent academic staff and their postgraduate
students and postdocs. Most but not all of the members are in the
departments of Maths or Biology (or both), and many of the postgraduate
students are jointly supervised by a mathematician and a biologist. The
Centre runs seminars on Friday afternoons in
term time.
VisitingWe welcome visits from academics, postdocs, postgrads and potential students. If you would like to arrange a vist, contact one of the directors: Jane White and Mike Mogie, or a member with similar interests to your own. Information on how to reach the University of Bath is available here. Studying: MSc in mathematical biology We run an MSc programme offering training in Mathematics,
Biology and Mathematical Biology. It is a year long programme suitable for students with a strong mathematical background.
