We offer a full Plus Placement service, one which is highly-regarded by companies and our own students.
Other universities offer summer jobs or an "intercalated" year where you have to find your own placement. Our Plus package includes help writing your application, dummy interviews before the real ones, and skills development sessions. We want you to be well-prepared, we want good companies to accept you and we want you to be ready to get the most out of the placement year.
While you are on placement we will visit you. We will make regular contact with you and your company supervisor.
Nor does it stop when you return to Bath. We hold a Returners Conference which includes a networking reception with employers. This way you learn from the company experience of other returning students. And you get that all-important chance to meet other companies, just at the point where those contacts will be useful for the job market.
