Welcome talks are part of your department induction. They introduce you to a range of services that will help you make the most of University life.

You must attend the Student Life talk and the Study Success at Bath talk.

Student Life – tips for success at university

Student Life is an interactive presentation designed to inform and inspire new students.

Before the presentation you will hear from:

  • President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Glynis Breakwell
  • Students' Union President, Lucy Woodcock

Which session to attend

There are three sessions. You must go to the one set up for your accommodation.

All sessions are on Monday 26 September 2016 in Founders Hall.

Session one - 10.30am

You must attend this session if you are living in:

  • Marlborough Court
  • Polden Court
  • Westwood
  • Woodland Court

Session two - 1pm

You must attend this session if you are living in:

  • Home-based and private accommodation
  • Carpenter House
  • Clevelands Building
  • John Wood Court
  • John Wood Building
  • Osborne House
  • The Quads

Session three - 3.30pm

You must attend this session if you are living in:

  • Brendon Court
  • Norwood House
  • Eastwood
  • Solsbury Court
  • The Woodlands

Information stalls

If you want to find out more about services at the University, visit their information stalls.

The stalls will be open on Tuesday 27 September 2016 from 11am to 4pm in Level 1 of The Chancellors' Building.
