Terms & Conditions
The following apply:
the scheme is open to part-time and full-time students.
the student(s) must be registered on one of the University’s doctoral programmes (PhD or Professional Doctorates).
candidates may apply for multiple grants during their studies, but priority will be given to activities which fill a gap in current provision.
applications will be considered by the Doctoral College. Decisions are final with no right of appeal.
the funds (for successful applications) may only be used for the purpose outlined in the original application. Any proposed amendments must be agreed by the Doctoral College, otherwise the Doctoral College reserves the right to not fund any changes or to remove funding for the whole proposal.
successful applicants will be required to submit a short evaluation report and photographs on completion of the event. Failure to do so may result in the funds you have received being repaid to the University upon demand.
submitted reports, photographs and video may be used to publicise the fund and its work. You may also be asked to participate in activity promoting the scheme.
retrospective applications made after the activity has commenced will not normally be considered.
candidates must acknowledge Doctoral College funding in any communications about the event.
