Document checking sessions
If you are from outside the EU, you must attend a document checking session with our Student Immigration Service.
The Student Immigration Service will be in the Chancellor's Building, room 4.17 between 1:30pm and 3pm on Friday 2 February.
All students with an overseas fee status must attend the document checking session in order to complete registration as a University of Bath student.
Induction on Thursday 1 February 2018
Pick up your induction pack, have a coffee and meet other new students in the 2 East foyer.
You can register and collect your induction pack between 9am and 9:30am on Thursday 1 February.
Introduction to University teams
Meet teams from around the University and find out how they can help you during your time at Bath. All introductions take place in 2 East, room 3.1, on Thursday 1 February.
From 9:30am, you will be introduced to:
- the International Mobility Team
- the Bath Erasmus Network (BEN)
- the Student Services Team
- the Students' Union alongside the International Students' Association
- the Academic Skills Centre
Campus tours will be led by current Student Ambassadors on Thursday 1 February.
English language test
If you want to improve your English language skills at Bath, you must take the Cambridge English test so we can put you in the right group for your level.
You can take the test in 2 East, room 3.1 on Thursday 1 February at 2pm.
The test will take around one hour.
If you can't take the test then there will be other opportunities to take it. Ask staff from the Academic Skills Centre for further information on the day.
Roman Baths tour
You can join us for a tour of the Roman Baths. This will take place on Friday 9 February 2018. We will confirm further details of the tour and how to sign up soon.
You should also attend your department meeting to meet your Department Exchange Coordinator and learn more about your department and courses.
