ParkingPlus scheme

If you are a full-time or part-time member of staff, you will pay for your parking permit through the scheme.

Each month, part of the overall permit fee is taken from your pay, before tax. This will be detailed on your payslip.

Casual staff

Casual members of staff won't be able to take part in the ParkingPlus scheme. Instead, you must pay for your permit by credit or debit card at:

Low-paid employees

If you earn less than £7,500 you will get a free parking permit.

Effect on pensions

Pension contributions will continue to be based on your normal salary before any adjustment for ParkingPlus.

If you are a member of staff of state pension age, you will automatically receive a 20% discount on the cost of a standard permit. This is because you do not pay National Insurance contributions and therefore cannot benefit from a reduction.
