Prepare for the EU/UN Entry Examinations with our...
Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation Course
This intensive, hands-on course is specifically designed to prepare students for the European Union and United Nations freelance competitive examinations in order to meet the current demand for English booth interpreters from French and Spanish.
The course will focus on all aspects of the EU and the UN, including their respective structures, and will cover a wide variety of topics. It is intended for practising and budding interpreters with full mastery of two languages. Applicants must have native-level English and should possess some interpreting experience.
The program is divided into an equal number of training hours from all listed languages according to the participant's combinations, and will include consecutive practice, on-sight translation as well as booth practice in the new, state-of-the-art interpretation labs at the University of Bath. The historic city of Bath and its surroundings offer exciting sightseeing opportunities which can be enjoyed by the participants during the evening at their own leisure.
