Courses in Management and Leadership
The University
of Bath offer a number of Management and Leadership short courses which can be studied online via distance learning and are accredited at Level 5 by the Chartered Management Institute.
The units are designed for practising middle managers and other individuals who wish to:

The units are delivered by distance learning, can be accessed anywhere in the world and full support is provided by qualified Management and Leadership tutors.

What we are offering?
We offer a number of Management and Leadership short courses which have been deisgned for practising middle managers and other individuals who wish to develop core management skills and practices and enhance employability.

How are the units delivered?
These courses are delivered by distance learning using the University of Bath Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle, with full support provided by qualified tutors with experience in the Management and Leadership subject area. This method of delivery provides the student with greater flexibility.
Do I have to attend the University?
You are not required to attend the University of Bath for these units. However, as a student of the University you will have access to the institution's facilities, including the Library and Sports Training Village. You will also be eligible for a student card which provides you with discounts on a number of products and services.
What qualification will I get?
These Management and Leadership units have been developed in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). As well as University of Bath credit, students are eligible for a CMI Award (one unit) or Certificate (two or more units) in Level 5 Management and Leadership.
When can I start?
We are currently accepting applications for individual units.
Entry Requirements
Suitable applicants will normally have a level 3 qualification (for example, an NVQ Level 3, A Levels or a National Diploma) or a higher education qualification (Foundation degree, Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree) and may have some management experience.
Students whose first language is not English should have a level of English appropriate for higher education (an IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 550 (paper test), TOEFL 213 (computer test) or TOEFL 80 (internet test)).

Fees for 2013/14: £275 per unit
CMI Fees:
CMI Award: £92
CMI Certificate: £136
Please note that all of these fees are subject to change. All fees are payable to the University of Bath.
