Develop your problem solving skills with our new distance learning course!
Many of us are confronted with problems in our day to day work. Being able to tackle these problems logically and think creatively is the key to finding effective solutions.
Our new course aims to help you develop your skills in this area and enhance your creative potential. The course, called the ‘Solution Generator’, is available via distance learning, making it accessible to those based overseas as well as those with little time to attend taught classes. The on-line resources include practice exercises, additional reading materials and discussion forums.
Seven short films and electronic resources guide you through the problem solving process and help you to develop techniques to identify solutions to real-life problems and cope with accelerating changes in technology and business.
Is this the right course for you?
The course is open to those at any level of an organisation who wish to enhance their problem solving and creative thinking skills. The techniques taught in the course are particularly useful for those working in extreme physical and social environments (e.g. medical and military personnel) but the underlying techniques can be applied to any situation and to areas such as invention and scientific discovery.
How will it benefit you?
This course will enable you to develop your skills as a critical thinker and problem solver. You will learn how to use TRIZ*, a powerful problem solving methodology in order to:
