Third call for bids to the CPD Development Fund - Deadline Extended
The University is pleased to announce the third call for bids to the CPD Development Fund.
Established in October 2008, the fund seeks to encourage University staff to work with external employers to investigate and develop CPD opportunities which meet the needs of their staff.
To date 16 bids have been funded. The CPD Support & Development Office is now inviting further proposals.
The fund supports two types of applications:
- Large grants (up to a maximum of £10k) to develop new provision in a collaborative partnership with employers.
- Smaller grants (worth around £500) to explore potential collaborations with employers.
Projects should be demand-led, and should either address an individual employer’s training and development requirements, or more generally, respond to the needs of a particular sector.
