Biopic

Stephen Ledbetter is a civil/structural engineer. A graduate of Dundee and Bristol Universities, he worked for a civil engineering consultancy before joining the University of Bath in 1981. He has been Director of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology since 1990 and participates in several international research groups and is chair of EU COST Action C13 on 'Glass and interactive facades'.

His research interests are in the field of facade engineering, both the technical and business process issues. He is currently working on:

He is Director of Studies for the MSc in Facade Engineering. He teaches facade construction and facade engineering to undergraduates. Through CWCT he is also involved in education and training for CPD.
