General information
What is it?
Our annual Summer Showcase focuses on disseminating the latest research in the area of sustainable chemical technologies.
The first two days will include presentations from academics and international and industrial partners, and poster sessions to showcase research of the current DTC students. These sessions are geared towards stimulating discussion around possible collaborations for the coming year.
The third day will focus on the science in more depth, and is aimed at researchers, international partners and guests.
Who should attend?
The goal is to bring together students and academics associated with the DTC, the DTC’s international and industrial partners and various stakeholder groups and professional organisations with an interest in Sustainable Chemical Technologies. Current and new DTC students will be present, with the former presenting some of their early results.

Parking
Parking is available on campus, and parking permits will be available at the registration desk or in advance, by request. Permits will be required on all days and there is a small “pay and display” fee to be paid. If you wish to have a parking permit sent to you, please send an email, before COB on Fri 6 July, to csct@bath.ac.uk with “Summer Showcase — parking permit” in the subject line. The East car park has appropriate Pay & Display machines (see campus map). Alternatively, delegates can use the Pay & Display units situated in the East Car Park at a cost of £1per hour.
Parking is administered by an external company, that applies the rules very strictly, so please only park in allowed areas, with appropriate permits.
Accommodation
No accommodation has been arranged or block booked (except for international visitors). There are a range of hotels in Bath city centre and some accommodation is available at the university. Delegates should book their own accommodation as required. Bath city centre is compact and most hotels will be within easy walking distance of suitable restaurants or other amenities. The Bath tourism website has useful links to maps, brochures and accommodation.
