Bristol Science Cafe: How green is your shopping bag?

TomatoesOn Monday 24 September, PhD students from the Centre of Sustainable Chemical Technologies (CSCT) will be talking to members of the public about the sustainability of everyday products.

The theme for this month's Bristol Science Cafe is ' How green is your shopping bag? - A chemical perspective', and the event takes place at Bristol Tobacco Factory from 8pm to 10pm.

Rebecca Bamford, Tom Forder, Will Reynolds, Julia Griffen and Luke Willams will be talking about the manufacture, use and disposal of plastics, use of metals in manufacturing processes, cleaner pharmaceutical processing, waste disposal and recycling to high value products.
