CSCT students help kids tap into science

CSCT students have helped kids tap into science by attending the bath taps into science fair, an opportunity for children and the public to come along and learn more about science , as part of the national science and engineering week.  In the bright lights and fantastic plasctics exhibition CSCT students talked about and demonstrated how a solar cell works, and how to make one using tea, how plastics are made and how to make a bouncy ball out of glue, cornflour and borax, as well as talking about chromotography (using smarties) and molymods, both vital chemical tools.

Here are some photos of the day.
