Joining the Dental Centre as a new patient

We are an NHS practice and offer a wide range of dental treatments under the NHS. If a treatment such as white fillings or crowns is not available you will be advised of this and given a quotation for it being done privately.

To become a patient of the Dental Centre it is necessary to have a check up. This will cost £18.00 unless you are under 19 years of age, have a current HC2 Exemption Certificate or are on benefits that give dental exemption.

The check up includes a dental examination, any necessary x-rays, a treatment plan with advice about any treatment that might be recommended and a scale and polish if it is clinically necessary.

To join us come along during opening hours:

Monday 9.00am-1.00 pm 2.00-4.30 pm
Tuesday 8.30-1.00 pm 2.00-4.30 pm
Wednesday 8.30-1.00 pm 2.00-4.30 pm
Thursday 8.30-1.00 pm 2.00-4.30 pm
Friday 8.30-3.30 pm

You will be asked to fill in a form so we can enter your details on our database and the receptionist will then be able to book you a check up.

Please note if you do not turn up to this appointment or cancel it less than 24 hours before hand we will not see you again.

If you wish to remain with your dentist at home there are dental clinics locally that you can use if you have a dental emergency. The receptionist can give you information about these services.
