Department Open Days
Our Department Open Days (UCAS Days) will take place on the following dates:
- 13 February 2013
- 6 March 2013
- 10 April 2013
The Open Days take place between 13:00 - 16:30.
What are Department Open Days?
Departmental Open Days are for students who have received an offer from the University, and wish to take a closer look at the Department before finalising their UCAS choices.
Applicants will be contacted by us once an offer has been processed and will receive a choice of visit dates.
What happens on the Department Open Day?
The Departmental Open Day consists of:
- A talk by the Head of Department and Admissions Tutor
- A presentation by placement year students
- A tour of the campus (led by current economics students)
- A chance to meet some academic staff

We also hold University Open Days which are much larger and aimed at students prior to UCAS application.
