Historical monuments have proved good schooling grounds for two sets of trainee teachers studying at the university.
Science
teachers got the chance to test out their ideas for making the subject both enlightening and
entertaining when they devised new educational material for the
Roman Baths while
History PCGE students used
Farleigh
Hungerford Castle to come up with fun and interesting ways to bring the past to life.
The postgraduates, from the Department of Education, spent time devising activities, worksheets and workshops which they tested out on local pupils who played guinea pig for the day.
