Meenakshy was nominated for her enthusiasm and hard work as an Academic Rep, going above and beyond her role.

The awards ceremony congratulated Academic Reps and teaching staff, recognising their consistent dedication and enthusiasm towards their roles. Academic Reps represent students on their programme or department at Staff Student Liaison Committees and also on the Department Learning Teaching and Quality Committees, feeding back student views to improve the academic experience.

Meenakshy was nominated for her enthusiasm and hard work as an Academic Rep, going above and beyond her role. As a new programme for 2015/6, the MA International Education and Globalisation has benefitted from Meenakshy's advice and feedback, helping to promote the programme to applicants and offer holders. She took part in a webinar, answering queries from prospective students, has taken part in a photoshoot and been interviewed for a promotional film. She also coordinated collecting feedback from her peers with her fellow Academic Rep Nan Zou which has been extremely valuable in the development of the programme in its first year.

Elisabeth Barratt Hacking, Director of Studies for MA International Education and Globalisation said, 'Meenakshy has made an excellent contribution to the course in its first year; I have especially valued Meenakshy's insights and constructive comments and her efforts to support us in promoting the course to prospective students.'
