Profile

I have been involved in TESOL and applied linguistics for over 25 years: as a TESOL teacher, lecturer, researcher and academic manager in Australia and the UK.

My teaching and research interests include English for specific purposes, English in an international context, language assessment and pragmatics.

My most recent areas of research and publication include feedback practices in higher education, the development of student language proficiency in higher education, and post entry language assessment.
