Profile
I am one of the Science team of tutors and have been working on the PGCE programme within my specialism of Chemistry for the last nine years. I am also the PGCE Partnership Coordinator and Widening Participation Representative.
For the previous 27 years, I worked as Science teacher in a local area. I have been Head of Chemistry, Assistant Head of Department, Head of Sixth Form, and was (for a time), on the Leadership Team. During this time I also worked with trainee teachers from all of the local universities.
I have also been involved with various projects, working with:
- Wessex Modular A-levels
- TVEI
- Resources for Learning Development Unit (RFLDU)
- The Electricity Council
- HE STEM
I was the Training Coordinator for the Bath Partnership GTP for eight years.
