Combined Offers
If you have an offer for a taught postgraduate degree within the University of Bath, and you meet all the conditions of this offer except for the English language requirement, you may be eligible for a combined offer of admission.
A combined offer means the Pre-MBA/MSc Management or Pre-sessional five-week English language course (PMBS5 or PS5) is combined with your actual postgraduate degree, making a thirteen month course. This means:
- You only need one Tier 4 visa and CAS
- You can go straight from the English course to your postgraduate degree course on completion of the first five weeks
It also means that you need to pay the fees for the English language course AND at least half the fees for your degree programme at the beginning of the combined course i.e. when you start PMBS5 or PS5 in August.
Please note that combined offers are limited in number and are only available for applicants with offers on taught postgraduate degree programmes, AND for those students who meet the English language requirements for their language course:
You can apply for a combined offer by contacting the Graduate School of your taught postgraduate degree programme at any time BEFORE 30th April 2012, even if you do not yet have your first degree results. You will however need to provide your degree results by the end of May in order to be able to received a combined unconditional offer.
IMPORTANT: If you receive a combined offer and wish to accept it, you must do so BEFORE 31st May at the latest to be sure of a place on the combined course.
