Accommodation
Our students usually choose to live in University accommodation to enjoy the opportunity of living alongside other students from different countries, to practise their English and enjoy their free time together. All University accommodation is subject to availability.
How to apply
You can indicate that you would like University accommodation on your application form, but will not be offered accommodation until you have been accepted on a course.
Summer courses
Students on summer courses (July to September) can normally be guaranteed a place in University accommodation.
- Pre-sessional (PSP4, PSG4 and PSM4) students starting their courses in July are usually accommodated in
John Wood Court in the city centre. Rooms are £98 per week. - Pre-sessional (PSG5 and PSM5) students starting their courses in August are usually accommodated in the Westwood Residences on campus. Rooms are £110 per week.
Year-round courses
We will do our best to provide University accommodation for all students who would like it, but occasionally it may not be possible at the start of a course. It is important that you apply as early as possible.
- accommodation for year-round English Language Centre students is normally off-campus in
Thornbank Gardens or Pulteney Court - prices range from £88 to £128 per week
