How to apply
To apply for an ELC course, please read the instructions first. Then choose your course from the list at the end of the instructions and follow the link.
If you would like to take more than one course, follow the link for the first course. The application form allows you to apply for more than one course.
- Check the course codes, dates and fees for the course or courses you wish to apply for.
- Fill in the appropriate online application form for your course, giving us as much information as possible about your current level of English.
- We will then email you to acknowledge receipt, and within 1-2 days will tell you our decision.
- We will airmail an unconditional offer letter, accommodation form and payment information. No deposit or payment is required at this stage.
- You use the offer letter in support of your student visa application (if required).
- You complete and return the accommodation form.
- You arrange payment of tuition fees in full no later than 4 weeks before the course start date.
- We email to confirm receipt of payment.
- We airmail you confirmation of your acceptance on the course (to show at Immigration on arrival in the UK, if required) and send travel and arrival information.
- The Accommodation Office emails you with your room allocation and address in Bath. The letter of acceptance from the ELC will tell you where to pick up the keys for your accommodation.
- You make travel arrangements to arrive (preferably) the weekend before your course is due to start, and email us the date and approximate time of arrival.
