When you can take the test
The test takes place on a number of Saturdays throughout the year. Please apply to take the test in good time. You may need to book several months in advance, particularly for the period from March to July.
Late applicants may not be able to have their first choice of date.
When are the results known?
Results are sent out to candidates, and to the institutions to which they have applied, 13 days after taking the test. Tests are marked by highly qualified English language examiners who are further trained and certificated by the British Council. Tests and results are also monitored by Cambridge ESOL to make sure standards are maintained.
